It’s been a while since I’ve seen Fido, and I revisited it today. I think that it’s hands down one of the best zombie movies in existence.
Awesome art direction, beautifully shot (the suburban aspects often remind me of Gregory Crewdson), creative spin on the genre, absolutely hilarious situations/ characterization, with a healthy dose of poignancy when the plot runs into the inevitable questions concerning how you define death in a post-zombie-apocalypse.
For anyone that somehow missed this movie, I’d highly recommend it.
